I love a unique cocktail, a beautifully set table, a perfectly executed dinner service, a team challenging each other to get out of the weeds, a chef assuming expo for the first time, a line cook getting a dish on the menu, and an out-of-this world wine pairing. The restaurant industry is one that brings people together on both sides of the check, whether that’s in the kitchen or in the dining room, and I have a great passion and relentless pursuit for true hospitality.
Restaurants and table gatherings are some of the only experiences that involves all five human senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. Someone orders fajitas and you can picture the large cast-iron skillet with sizzling marinated skirt steak that smells of fresh lime juice and cilantro, cooked medium rare to accompany crisp, grilled veggies and homemade fluffy tortillas that warm the soul.
